Colum McCann

Colum McCann is a Dublin born writer of literary fiction whose novels include Songdogs (Orion/Phoenix), This Side of Brightness (Henry Holt & Co/Phoenix/Bloomsbury), Dancer (Phoenix), Zoli (Phoenix) and Let the Great World Spin (Bloomsbury/Random House), which won the 2009 National Book Award for Fiction. His fiction has been published in 30 languages and he has written for numerous papers and periodicals, including The New York Times, The Atlantic Monthly, GQ, The Times, and The Irish Times.
