Emma Donoghue

Emma Donoghue was born in Dublin in 1969 and earned a PhD from Cambridge before moving to London, Ontario. She is the author of nine novels, including Hood, Touchy Subjects, Landing and The Sealed Letter. ‘Man and Boy’ (Granta 104) is taken from a sequence of true travellers’ tales from the last four centuries.
