Hisham Matar

Hisham Matar’s novel, In the Country of Men, was shortlisted for the 2006 Man Booker Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Award, and won the Commonwealth First Book Award (Europe and South Asia), the Royal Society of Literature Ondaatje Prize and the Premio Internazionale Flaiano. The book has been translated into twenty-five languages.
