Jaime Karnes

Jaime Karnes, originally from Burlington, Vermont, earned her MFA from Rutgers University. She teaches fiction classes at Gotham Writers’ Workshop in NYC and English Literature in New Jersey. She recently received summer Fellowships to the MacDowell Colony and the Virgina Center for Creative Arts. She lives and writes in Manhattan. She is Granta’s New Voice for April 2011, with her story ‘Here Comes the Sun’.
