Johnny West

Johnny West has been involved in the Middle East for twenty-five years, as a Reuters correspondent and manager of journalism training projects across the region. He has worked in Afghanistan, as well as Egypt, Tunisia and Iraq and speaks fluent Arabic, Farsi and French. He lives in Germany and
advises the United Nations on public policy aspects of the oil industry in the Middle East. His book, Karama! Journeys Through the Arab Spring will be published by Quercus on 4 August 2011.
