Julia Blackburn

Julia Blackburn’s novels include The Leper’s Companions (1999) and My Animals and Other Family (2007). She is also the author of six works of non-fiction including The Emperor's Last Stand (2000) and Daisy Bates in the Desert: A Woman's Life Among the Aborigines (1994). Her novel, The Book of Colour, was shortlisted for the Orange Prize in 1997.
