Lydia Davis

Lydia Davis is the author of several collections of short stories including, The End of the Story (2004), Almost No Memory (2001), Samuel Johnson is Indignant (2002), Varieties of Disturbance (2007) and most recently The Collected Stories of Lydia Davis (2009). She is also a translator of several French writers including Foucault, Blanchot, Michael Leiris and Proust. Her widely acclaimed translation of Swann's Way by Marcel Proust was published in 2003.
