Ngugi wa Thiong’o

Ngugi wa Thiong’o is Distinguished Professor of English and Comparative Literature at the University of California, Irvine. His books include Devil on the Cross, Petals of Blood and, most recently, Dreams in a Time of War: a Childhood Memoir (Harvill Secker, 2010).
