Tahmima Anam

Tahmima Anam was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1975. Her first novel, A Golden Age, is set against the background of Bangladesh’s Liberation War of 1971 and was published in 2007. It was the Best First Book winner of the 2008 Commonwealth Writers' Prize. Tahima Anam lives in London.
