V. V. Ganeshananthan
V.V. Ganeshananthan is the author of Love Marriage (Phoenix, 2009), a novel set in Sri Lanka and its diaspora. The book was long-listed for the Orange Prize and named one of Washington Post Book World’s Best of 2008. A graduate of Harvard College and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, she has also worked as a journalist. She is now the Zell Visiting Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Michigan. She is at work on a second novel, which is set in Sri Lanka and the United States.
