Beautifully written... Those worlds are there to be 'seen' with the Eye and the Heart...
"They who recite the verses of the All-Merciful in the most melodious of tones will perceive in them that with which the sovereignty of earth and heaven can never be compared. From them they will inhale the divine fragrance of My worlds--worlds which today none can discern save those who have been endowed with vision through this sublime, this beauteous Revelation. Say: These verses draw hearts that are pure unto those spiritual worlds that can neither be expressed in words nor intimated by allusion. Blessed be those who hearken." --Baha'u'llah

La nieve, dulcemente.
La nieve,
dulcemente, la
candida emoción
que habla en
la noche y dona
a este sueño
el candor de la

These are fantastic pictures creating a very intimate portrait of the city. The circumstances which she is studying are exceptional and the opportunity to photograph the intimate living spaces of those on the margins of Burmese society reflects a rare and unique gift. Thanks, Elizabeth & Granta!

L'activité des sourires.
Comme une
ombre dans
l'intensité d'un
matin je sens
le soleil qui
chante avec toi
le son des
sourires.

And then you start to think of a motive, just as it was hard to believe that this was the work of Islamic terrorists, as was claimed by all and sundry, to begin with, you find it hard to believe the reasons we are being given, by this robot . . . for want of a better word.
Who has it in for Norway, you ask yourself?
http://nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/peace/laureates/2010/
[Then you start to wonder if the Russians not only gave the Chinese the nuclear bomb, but other kinds of weaponry too.]
Then you think of Auden :
I and the public know
What all schoolchildren learn,
Those to whom evil is done
Do evil in return.
And then you think that no people could be so barbaric . . . and then you think of the algorithm. Did the algorithm keep sending this man, to where he wanted to go?
[And then you just switch off the 'news', tv/radio/internet. You realize that it is you at fault, you realize that you are not obliged to watch, nor listen, nor read.]
