To celebrate the forthcoming Granta 102, and the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Edinburgh International Book Festival, Granta is giving away ten pairs of tickets to the 2008 Edinburgh International Book Festival, which runs from 9 - 25 August.

The Edinburgh Book Festival brings together writers from over forty countries, features over 700 events and creative workshops, including lively debates on political and ethical issues, children’s events and live music. This year’s festival includes Sean Connery, Salman Rushdie, Margaret Atwood, Richard Dawkins, Tony Benn, Louis de Bernières, Hanif Kureishi, Mary Warnock, John Prescott, James Kelman, George Steiner, Kate Adie, Julian Barnes, Jonathan Dimbleby, Dan Cruickshank, Tariq Ali, Ian Rankin, Polly Toynbee, Irvine Welsh, Kate Mosse, AC Grayling, Iain Banks, Anne Enright, Terry Pratchett, Alexander McCall Smith, Tony Parsons, Alan Sillitoe, Steven Berkoff and over 700 other writers and personalities.

The first ten readers who send an email with ‘Edinburgh Book Festival’ in the subjectline to rrobins@granta.com will receive two tickets each, so that they and a friend can attend one of the literary events of the year.

Tickets to be collected from the Book Festival box office during the festival. Please include your name and full postal address in the body of the email so that we can confirm your details.

Please note that this offer is for festival tickets only, and does not include accomodation or travel expenses.
