Hillary Clinton. The very name produces extreme reactions in people: some have an intense admiration for the Democractic presidential hopeful, others a pathological hatred. No one, however, can deny that hers has been an extraordinary life. And no period has been as extraordinary, as unpredictable and historical and tumultous as these last ten months on the campaign trail.
In Granta 79, the celebrity issue, Kyle Stone wrote about being a neighbour of the Clintons, in posh Westchester County, New York, at the start of Hillary’s solo political career.
