Man Booker Prize 2008

Aravind Adiga, a thirty-three year old debut novelist from India, has won this year’s Man Booker Prize for his novel The White Tiger. Adiga is the second youngest writer to win the prize. The panel of judges, chaired by Michael Portillo, included Granta editor Alex Clark.
