Sharona Muir

Sharona Muir’s writing has received the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship; the Alfred Hodder Fellowship from Princeton University; two Ohio Arts Council Fellowships; the Memorial Foundation for Jewish Culture Fellowship; the Bernard F. Connors Prize, and other awards. She is the author of three books: most recently, The Book of Telling: Tracing the Secrets of My Father's Lives, Random House/Schocken Books. Her poetry and prose have been published in numerous journals including The Paris Review, Stand, The Yale Review, Harvard Magazine, Virginia Quarterly Review, Prairie Schooner, The Kenyon Review, Partisan Review and The Jerusalem Report. She holds a Ph.D. in Modern Thought and Literature from Stanford University, an M.A. in Creative Writing and English from Boston University, and an A.B. in Comparative Literature from Princeton University. She is currently Professor of Creative Writing and English at Bowling Green State University.
