Granta’s editor and owner, Alex Clark and Sigrid Rausing, respectively, have been named two of the Evening Standard’s 1000 most influential people in London. They are in good company: Gordon Brown, Boris Johnson, Stella McCartney, Charles Saatchi, Gail Rebuck, Caroline Michel and Jack Straw are some others on the list.
