Podcast: Rana Dasgupta and Ruchir Joshi

|

In this Granta.com podcast, Rana Dasgupta and Ruchir Joshi discuss Delhi’s super rich, the language of global capitalism and the energy unleashed by new money.

Dasgupta’s essay, ‘Capital Gains’, on the intersection of money, power and political influence in today’s Delhi, was published in Granta 107. Joshi, who contributed a memoir, ‘Tracing Puppa’, to Granta 104: ‘Fathers’, is working on a piece for the magazine’s ‘Work’ issue, to be published later this year. This forthcoming essay will examine the changing professional lives of India’s lower and middle classes. You can watch a Granta.com interview with him here.

    Dear Mod:

Could you point us to the feed for the Granta podcasts? I can't trace one on the Apple Store, nor The PodLounge.

    Thanks and best wishes.

You should take part in a contest for one of the best blogs on the web. I will recommend this site!

The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
