Reginald Gibbons

Reginald Gibbons is a poet, translator, and fiction writer. His most recent book of poems is Slow Trains Overhead: Chicago Poems and Stories (2009). His previous work, Creatures of a Day, was a Finalist for the 2008 National Book Award. He has also recently published a book of translations of Sophocles, Selected Poems: Odes and Fragments. Gibbons teaches at Northwestern and is Co-Director of the MA/MFA program in creative writing there.
